Building a Better Program Brings in Well-Rounded Athletes

Athens Christians athletic program has extremely progressed since Van Beacham took the position as the Athletics Director. When first taking the position there were three main factors he wanted to focus on to attract athletes to come play for Athens Christian. First he switched conference to the GHSA, second he wanted to provide a well-qualified staff, and last upgrade the facilities. Besides the three main factors, Beacham wants athletes to know they are coming to Athens Christian not just to play sports but to learn how to become a well-rounded individual. With the success and hard work he put into the program, families throughout the Athens distract have enrolled their kids into Athens Christian to play sports and for the education. Beacham hopes that the program will contain the same value in the future.
